MapleStory M

Nexon's eight-year-old mobile MapleStory arrived on Steam in March 2026 with crossplay, a new job and a Mostly Negative rating. Underneath the port complaints is a more interesting game than its reviews suggest — an idle MMO whose central resource, auto-battle time, is metered at two free hours a day and sold for premium currency after that.

Nexfall

A 3-6 player multiplayer parkour game that pairs precision platforming with a build-your-loadout ability deck and a level-based unlock ladder, launched with a single Russian-language user review and zero people playing it at the moment this was checked.

Skills & Raids

A solo-developed extraction RPG whose "Mixed" score understates a real design problem with its combat, and whose review section contains an unusual, specific pattern worth reporting plainly — at least two detailed reviews that read as substantively critical while marking the game recommended, explicitly out of sympathy for the developer.

Slay All Bosses: Idle

A solo-developed auto-battler that dresses itself up as an idle RPG, delivers a genuinely satisfying handful of boss fights through three distinct heroes, and then ends before its skill trees, weapon collection or "idle" framing ever get the room to matter.

Stoneguard

Medieval survivors defend a magic stone from monsters dropped by an alien ship, sever limbs, fit prosthetics and forge weapons out of what they cut off. A genuinely strange five-dollar idea from two developers — and about four hours of Early Access with the AI still half-working.

Storm Seas

A solo-developed 18th-century Caribbean trading sim that pairs a genuinely layered supply-chain economy with a rough, one-day-old Early Access build — Mostly Negative across its first ten Steam reviews, with independent day-one reports of unbeatable enemy encounters, brutal docking damage and helm controls that pull you off the wheel to do anything else.

Swag and Sorcery

A pixel-art village-and-heroes RPG from the Punch Club and Graveyard Keeper studios that markets itself as idle and plays like a part-time job — genuinely funny writing and strong art undercut by a loop that never lets go of the mouse.

The Callisto Protocol

A visually stunning Dead Space spiritual successor that never fully recovered from a disastrous December 2022 performance launch — and whose save-corruption bugs, reported by reviewers three years apart, still haven't been fully resolved.

The Ranchers

A years-in-the-making, Kickstarter-backed open-world farming sim that finally hit Early Access — and immediately ran into the one thing its audience cared most about. The co-op isn't the shared-farm co-op people bought it for, and the Mixed rating is mostly that discovery happening 392 times.

Thousand Floors

A tap-a-floor idle tower climber wrapped in Chinese mythology, with a genuinely tactile summon-and-collide combat loop undercut by a real-money marketplace that sells stat-buffing skins and a tutorial that explains almost nothing.

Tree of Savior

A decade-old free-to-play MMORPG with an extraordinarily dedicated hardcore playerbase — reviewers with 2,000, 3,000, even 4,000 hours logged — and a 2026 sentiment collapse tied to a specific new complaint: classes that used to be earned through play are now gated behind gacha.

World of Eggs: Idle Adventures

A free-to-play idle strategy MMO about building an egg-themed civilization, split almost exactly down the middle between players who find real layered depth in its economy and combat systems, and players frustrated by a slow start, progress-halting bugs, and lingering distrust of the developer's previous game.

Zombidle

Berzerk Studio's villain-side clicker put you in charge of a Necromancer razing a fantasy kingdom instead of the other way around, and its gross-out humour and monster art still land. What doesn't hold up in 2026 is everything else — the studio confirmed six years ago that Zombidle would never be updated again, and Google Play has since dropped it.

Amaranth Source Online

A tile-based, permadeath MMORPG built and coded almost entirely by one developer since 2017, released on Steam a day before this review with no cash shop of any kind, a single Frankfurt server capped at 500 players — and, at the moment of checking, three people actually on it.

ARK: Survival Ascended

A ground-up Unreal Engine 5 remaster of one of survival gaming's biggest franchises, sold as a paid upgrade that a huge share of its own reviewers say carried over the original's bugs while demanding hardware far beyond what the visual improvements justify.

Book of Yog Idle RPG

A cel-shaded, kingdom-building idle RPG that looks better than most of the genre and runs a genuinely competent hero-collection loop underneath — until its 0.2% top-tier gacha rate turns "collect dozens of heroes" into the game's actual monetisation engine.

Capivara Clicker

A one-dollar, one-week-old clicker about tapping a capybara and buying Brazilian-themed upgrades — with a genuinely inventive twist where three-quarters of its 80 achievements exist purely to decorate your Steam profile, and a progression ladder with no visible prestige loop.
