Greymill Crossing

A divided riverland of mills, bridges, muddy yards and drowned roadside graves.

Recommended level: roughly 81–100. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.

The region

A divided riverland where the empire's mills still turn on drowned wheels. Greymill Crossing town holds the bridges, and the river splits the region into a tamer west bank and a rougher east. The Old Toll Bridge and its resident toll-wraith are a rite of passage — pay in blood or don't cross.

The riverland is generous with resources and encounters alike; it's a natural place to grind out the level nineties before the fens.

Settlements

Getting here

Greymill Crossing sits east of Crownwatch March, with Thornmere Fen beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
