Recommended level: roughly 171–200. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.
The region
A desert of singing glass. Wind over the dunes plays notes; caravans lie buried mid-song; the glass crater at the region's heart says something enormous happened here once. The Last Well's sister-route caravans still cross it, which is why the region has a road at all.
Heat, distance and elite patrols make the Reach a planning region: cross it in one prepared push rather than a series of ragged ones.
Settlements
Towns are safe ground — hostile creatures will not follow you past the boundary.
| Settlement | Character | Services |
|---|---|---|
| The Last Well | caravanserai | General store |
Landmarks
- The Glass Crater — Something struck here hot enough to turn the dunes to glass.
- Leviathan Ribs — Sun-bleached ribs of a desert leviathan arch over the caravan road.

Getting here
The Glasswind Reach sits east of The Shattered Coast, with The Sundering Field beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
