Recommended level: roughly 61–80. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.
The region
The Hollow Crown was, for a long stretch of Wanderer's history, the end of the road: a dead citadel at the top of a climb every veteran remembers. The Crown Gate and the Kingless Watch keep that ending's atmosphere — but the wall has been breached, and the road now runs on through it into the frontier beyond.
As a region it is a boss gauntlet: level 61–80 country, dense with elite encounters, capped by the citadel itself. Clear it once for the story; come back later for the drop tables.
Settlements
No permanent settlement holds this stretch of the road — plan your supplies around the neighbouring regions.
Landmarks
- The Ancient Gate — The broken gate of the Hollow Crown.
- The Stone Circle — A ring of standing stones below the citadel.

Getting here
The Hollow Crown sits east of The Cinderlands, with Crownwatch March beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
