Recommended level: roughly 258–298. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.

The region
An obsidian ridge of lava falls and ember storms, and the home of the Forgeheart Enclave — smiths who work lava-fed forges on both sides of the road. For the crafting-minded this is the promised land: the twin forges and the ore around them anchor the endgame smithing loop.
The Cindermaw's band runs 258–298 and its ember storms make even the walk between forges an event.
Settlements
Towns are safe ground — hostile creatures will not follow you past the boundary.
| Settlement | Character | Services |
|---|---|---|
| Forgeheart Enclave | lava forge | Blacksmith (furnace, anvil & tempering bench) |
Landmarks
- The Lava Falls — Molten rock pours off the ridge in slow, bright ropes.
- The Obsidian Forge-Ruins — The empire forged its great arms here. Forgeheart works what is left.

Getting here
The Cindermaw sits east of The Titanfall Barrens, with The Godsgrave Marches beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
