Aurorafell

Glacial highlands under a standing aurora; a titan sleeps frozen in the ice.

Recommended level: roughly 241–278. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.

The region

Glacial highlands under a standing aurora, silent except for the ice. A titan sleeps frozen mid-stride in the glacier's face; the Icebound Abbey keeps its vigil above; the aurora shrine flickers with light that isn't entirely weather. It is the most photographed region of the late game for good reason.

Cold, elite, 241–278. The Abbey is safe ground and one of the most atmospheric towns on the road.

Settlements

Towns are safe ground — hostile creatures will not follow you past the boundary.

Landmarks

  • The Frozen Titan — A titan sleeps whole inside the glacier. The Abbey prays it never wakes.
  • The Aurora Shrine — Under the standing lights, the monks keep a shrine of clear ice.

Getting here

Aurorafell sits east of Gloamspire Pass, with The Titanfall Barrens beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
