The Forgotten Sanctum

The temple where the Sundering began, at the true end of the road. Nothing here is tame.

Recommended level: roughly 276–312. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.

The region

The end of the Long Road: the temple where the Sundering began. The Forgotten Sanctum is part region, part final dungeon, and the corridor's ultimate destination — the place every milestone since Wanderer's Rest has been counting toward.

What waits inside is for you to find. The dawn shrine outside the doors is the traditional spot for the screenshot.

Settlements

No permanent settlement holds this stretch of the road — plan your supplies around the neighbouring regions.

Getting here

The Forgotten Sanctum sits east of The Godsgrave Marches — it is the final region of the Long Road. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
