Recommended level: roughly 135–153. Monster strength in Wanderer rises steadily with distance east, so the west edge of a region is always gentler than its east edge.
The region
The corridor's first true wilderness. The Dusk Frontier is pale woods and broken shrines under a sky that never quite commits to daylight, and the warbands that hold it are organised in a way the wildlife west of here never was. Gravedigger's Rest, the war camp on the road, is aptly named.
This is where the game expects a deliberate build: tempered gear, a chosen combat focus, and an honest look at whether your level matches the band.
Settlements
No permanent settlement holds this stretch of the road — plan your supplies around the neighbouring regions.
Landmarks
- Ashen Camp — A warlord camp raised inside a burned village.
What you'll fight
The creatures native to The Dusk Frontier, from the live bestiary. Levels shown are each creature's base strength — encounters scale with how deep into the region you've walked.
| Creature | Level |
|---|---|
| Deep Frontier Shade | 198 |
| Dusk Wyrm | 198 |
| Deep Frontier Warlord | 200 |
Getting here
The Dusk Frontier sits east of The Last Cairn, with The Gilded Vale beyond its far border. Teleport scrolls (sold at Wanderer's Rest, 1,000 coins) can return you instantly to any town you have already discovered, which makes the first walk through a region the only slow one.
