Trainatic

An incremental train-building game whose opening hours reviewers consistently call some of the most purely satisfying in the genre — obliterating an entire landscape as your train grows from a single tiny engine into a screen-clearing machine — undercut by a widely and independently repeated complaint that the back half repeats its biomes, trivialises aim through distance-based damage scaling, and runs out of new ideas well before the game itself ends.

Croakoloco

A genuinely charming frog-collecting game whose art style and creature variety win real affection, undercut by a near-unanimous complaint from its own fans that a game explicitly marketed and tagged as "idle" requires almost constant clicking to make any meaningful progress.
