A stylish, microtransaction-free idle game about building an alien empire and clicking asteroids -- genuinely loved for its writing and its refusal to nickel-and-dime, and just as consistently criticised for running out of new things to do long before players run out of interest.

Lazy Galaxy mixes an idle/clicker core with light RTS fleet-building, wrapped in a sci-fi comedy about a race of lazy alien octopi conquering the universe out of pure boredom. It is a real, complete, cheap idle experience for some players and a thin one that runs out of things to say for others, and the review sample splits almost exactly down that line.
